Accommodation
Buffelskloof Nature Reserve has two cottages which are open to all bona fide researchers and recognised natural history groups who require accommodation while carrying out research studies or training programmes on Buffelskloof Private Nature Reserve or the adjacent properties.
All requests for accommodation must be approved by the Manager before arrival.
Aloe Cottage
The Aloe Cottage has two rooms, one with one double bed, the other with two single beds; all beds have bedding provided. There are separate shower, bathroom and toilets.
Clivia Cottage
The Clivia Cottage sleeps a maximum of ten people in four double-bunks and two single beds, divided into two bedrooms (bedding for 4 beds available upon request). It has one shower and a separate toilet.
Both Cottages have a fully-furnished dining room/kitchenette and are equipped with electricity, mattresses & pillows, towels, all crockery, cutlery & cooking utensils, a fridge, microwave, 2-plate cooker (Clivia) or gas stove (Aloe), toaster and kettle. Visitors must therefore bring all their own food, drink and toiletries.
